• Cryobest attends to the International Business Days Le Mans 2009 – Jun 09

  About 60 companies among buyers, suppliers and service providers from the Motorsport Industry had attended to the second edition of the International Business Days LeMans 2009. All participants enjoyed the visit to Pescarolo paddock and the Wednesday’s free practice sessions. On Thursday’s pre-arranged meetings, Cryobest had the opportunity to offer successfully the multistage cryogenic process to some of the most important developers in this field.

• Cryobest is present at the 50th edition of the annual congress of the Gear Research Circle – Apr. 09

  During the 29th and 30th of April was hold the 50th edition of the congress that the Gear Research Circle organizes every year in Aachen. This relevant group of investigation, of which Cryobest is member, showed the results of the studies and developments accomplished during the last year.

• Cryobest presented the conference “Improving HSS Tools Performance by Deep Cryogenic Treatment” in the 2nd HSS Forum Congress celebrated in Aachen- Jan. 09

  The HSS Forum organized, with the collaboration of the WZL RTWH of Aachen, its second congress “Smart Solutions for the Future of Metal Cutting” that took place in January 2009, 20th and 21st in the mentioned German city. Cryobest International, a member of the HSS Forum (an international organization for promoting the use of High Speed Steel), had a stand and presented a conference titled “Improving HSS Tools Performance by Deep Cryogenic Treatment” that provoked outstanding interest in the audience.

• Cryobest attends as speaker in the conference ‘Soluciones para la mejora de la vida útil de componentes industriales’ organized by AIMEN -Oct. 08

  The Galician technological centre AIMEN organized the first edition of this event, held in Porriño on October 30th of 2008. Cryobest International was invited to expose the advantages and applications of the Cryobest process as a solution to increase the life time of a wide range of materials, with the presentation “Mejora de las prestaciones de componentes industriales mediante tratamientos criogénicos multietapa”.

• Cryobest Technological Director presents the advantages of using the cryogenic treatments at the simposium ‘Trends in gear soft manufacturing’ in Aachen –Oct.08

  During October 8th and 9th takes place in Aachen a new edition of the international simposium ‘Trends in Gear Soft Manufacturing’. This important event is organized by the WZL forum, in which managers and experts involved in design, R+D and manufacturing of gears are informed of recent developments in gear manufacturing, in prevailing cutting processes and in alternative processes. Luis Ángel Álava, representative from Cryobest International, S.L. shows the advantages of using the cryogenic treatments have in this field with the presentation “Improvement of the wear behaviour of gear cutting tolos by cryogenic treatment".

• Cryobest International S.L., first spanish company that joins the ‘Gear Research Circle’ – Aug.08

  Cryobest International has been accepted to join the Gear Research Circle. This group, created in 1956, is probably the most important forum for research of materials, manufacturing processes and testing procedures in the field of gears and transmissions in the world. Coordinated by the WZL of Aachen University, it is composed of more than 80 firms, which include most of the main car manufacturers and transmission developers, among others related with such technologies. Cryobest is the first Spanish company joining this relevant group.

• Cryobest attends to the first edition of Metalmadrid’08. – Jun.08

  During 11th and 12th of june, the Madrid Auditorium Hotel hosted the first relevant congress of metal industry done in Madrid. Cryobest not only showed the benefits of his process in the presentation “Aumento de las prestaciones de los materiales mediante la aplicación de tratamientos criogénicos multietapa”, but also in one of the more than 40 stands set for the conference”.

• Cryogenics 2008, meeting point for deep cold uses and applications – Apr.08.

  Held in april in the nice city of Praga, every two years this international conference shows the new developments, equipments and applications in all fields related with cryogenic temperatures. Cryobest International had the opportunity to present the Cryobest process in this event with the conference titled “Multistage cryogenic treatments of materials. Process fundamentals and examples of application.

• New edition of the Machine-Tool exhibition BIEMH’08 at Bilbao– Mar.08

  The 25th International Machine-Tool Biennial was held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre on 3-8 March. This fair is a trade forum for the machine tool industry, where the latest innovations and developments in machinery and technologies were presented. Cryobest had the opportunity of showing the benefits that its cryogenic process has in this field, mainly in improving the life of tools used in this sector.

• Cryobest International participates in the international symposium ‘Innovative Automotive Transmissions’ in Berlin– Dec.07.

  The 5th edition of the international symposium ‘Innovative Automotive Transmissions’ will take place in Berlin (December, 3-7). This event, organized by the CTI (Car Training Institute) is the meeting point of more than 1000 experts from all over the world that will have the opportunity of discussing about new concepts, manufacturing processes, trends and strategies in the field of automotive transmissions. The Technology Director of Cryobest International, Luis A. Álava, will take part in the symposium as speaker of one of the conferences. He will have the opportunity of presenting the multistage cryogenic treatment and its applications in transmission design and manufacturing with the lecture “Application of cryogenic treatments in transmission manufacturing and design”.

• Cryobest International attends as exhibitor to the ‘Cumbre Industrial y Tecnológica 2007’ held in Bilbao with the Chamber of Commerce of Alava – Sep.07

  In the most important fair in Spain for the subcontracting business, buyers and sellers met in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre during four days. Within the stand that the Chamber of Commerce of Alava had in the event, Cryobest International showed the benefits and last applications for its multistage cryogenic treatment.

• Participation of Cryobest International in the conference Ibertrib 2007 – Jun.07

  During the 21st and 22nd of june, the conference Ibertrib07 was held in Madrid. For two days, the attendees had the opportunity to share new advances in all matters related with friction, wear and lubricants. New treatments and coatings to increase the life of mechanical systems, day by day under harder conditions, were one of the main issues. In this field, Cryobest showed the potentiality of its treatment with the conference “Tratamiento de materiales a temperaturas criogénicas. Evolución y aplicaciones”.

• Cryobest International was present as exhibitor in EMAF – Nov.06

  Cryobest International was present as exhibitor in EMAF, the most important fair for the machine tool industry in Portugal. It took place in the exhibition center that Exponor has in Oporto, from the 14th to the 18th of November of 2006.

• The international conference Transfac takes place in 2006 in El Kursaal in San Sebastian, with the participation of Cryobest International – Oct.06

  From 4th to 6th October, organized by Tecnalia and TMS, The international conference Transfac 2006 has taken place in the congress center Kursaal in San Sebastian. Bringing together participants from industry, academia, and government organizations from around the world, Transfac'06 provides a truly global perspective on key transportation-related issues, covering the spectrum of automotive, aerospace, and other transportation modes. It is also a forum to discuss and identify key and emerging technologies as well as trends for coming years. Cryobest International joined this conference, showing the advantages of application of cryogenic treatment in this field in one of the stands prepared for the event.

• Tool06: A new opportunity for Cryobest International to show the multistage cryogenic treatment – May.06

  The international conference Tool’06 took place this year in Torino at the beginning of May. The benefits of the application of Cryobest process in tools were shown at the stand that Cryobest prepared for the event.

• Cryobest International attends as exhibitor to the Biemh 2006 – Mar.06

  A new edition of the International Machine-Tool Biennial was held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre on 6-11 March. Cryobest had the opportunity of showing the benefits that its cryogenic process has in this sector, thanks to the improvement of the life of the treated tools commonly used in this sector.

• Cryobest International attends as exhibitor to the ‘Cumbre Industrial y Tecnológica 2005’ held in Bilbao with the Chamber of Commerce of Alava – Sep.05

  Within the stand that the Chamber of Commerce of Alava had in the event, Cryobest International showed the benefits and last applications for its multistage cryogenic treatment in this new edition of the ‘Cumbre Industrial y Tecnológica 2005’. This is the most important fair in Spain for the subcontracting business, where buyers and sellers met in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre during four days.

• Cryobest moves to a new location in the Gamarra industrial area – Sep.05

  From the first of september of 2008, Cryobest International is offering its services from the new premises located in Avda. Cantábrico nº 12, in Vitoria. As well as having more space for workshop and offices, the pavilion of 300 sqm. provides the opportunity for installing new facilities for the liquid nitrogen storage. It will be ready from January 2006 and will improve the production flexibility, that means, better customer service.

• Treatment of the Optical Bench Assembly of Herschel Space Observatory at Cryobest– Abr.04

  The main functions of the “Optical Bench Assembly“ (OBA) is to hold scientific instruments in proper and stable position to the correct work of the telescope mounted in the satellite Herschel Space Observatory. The OBA, made of aluminium 6058, is a part of big dimensions with ultra thin walls. It will work at extreme low temperaturas (close to the absolut zero). Sener engineering team has been the responsable for the design, manufacturing and testing of this component. One of the processes performed to the OBA is a termal cycling between room temperature and -170ºC. Thanks to the collaboration of Cryobest, as they did not find any company in Europe to perform it, this process could be done successfully and flawlessly in Cryobest facilities.

• Cryobest International attends as exhibitor to the ‘Cumbre Industrial y Tecnológica 2003’ held in Bilbao with the Chamber of Commerce of Alava – Sep.03

  This new edition of ‘Cumbre Industrial y Tecnológica’ takes place for its first time in the new exhibition centre BEC in Bilbao. With the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Alava, Cryobest International also initiates the participation as exhibitor in this kind of events. It was an excellent opportunity of showing the benefits and last applications for its multistage cryogenic treatment.
