Technology Origins

At the end of 19th century the liquefaction of some gasses was achieved and that opened the door to deep cryogenic temperatures. Some experiments with steel started at the beginning of 20th century. The results were quite discouraging because, in most of cases, the material shattered or broke due to the thermal shock when the steel was directly put into liquefied gas.

After the Second World War these tests were abandoned until the seventies when aerospace industry took up this technology again and the cryogenic treatment started to be developed as a new industrial process.

Since those days liquid nitrogen has become more affordable and temperature control systems have improved. Consequently, the problems that were faced during the first attempts to master the process have now been solved. Cryogenic treatments have been developed, basically in an empiric way, firstly in the USA and later in other parts of the world (somewhat surprisingly, cryogenic treatments are still hardly known in Europe).

The multistage CRYObest® cryogenic treatment is the last step in cryogenics evolution. It is a process that outperforms conventional cryogenics and reduces the process time. It is achieved following an accurate predefined thermal curve with some different stages.

Our activity started in 2002, initially doing treatments for Spanish companies. But soon we realized the big potential of this technology for the companies in Europe and all over the World. Since 2004 we also design and manufacture the best processors for the best cryogenic treatment. Each CRYObest® processor is designed to fit our client specific requirements.
